The Athena Women's Chorus is a 60-person choir comprised of members of the Los Angeles Athletic Club in downtown. We rehearse weekly and perform two annual concerts in December and June.

The answer is right there in the original mission statement of this 145-year-old downtown institution: "The Los Angeles Athletic Club is devoted to the lifelong pursuit of health-giving amusements." What could be more health-giving and amusing than the joy of singing together?
